Where Green Projects have gained experience ?

Landfill Gas Utilisation Programme of South Africa - Together with Do-inc. a complete documentation (PDD, CPA-DD, generic CPA-DD) for CDM Programme of Activities (PoA) has been developed. The programme involves implementation of systems for utilisation and energetic use of methane from landfill sites in South Africa. Estimated reductions for the first CPA: 48,881 tCO2eq/year.
Status: under validation.

Afforestation of Kiri tree on degraded lands (Sierra Leone) - Development of draft PDD for the project which involves establishment of Kiri tree (Paulownia tomentosa) plantations on 42,500 acres of degraded lands located in Sierra Leone.
Status: project for sale.

Eecopalsa Biogas Expansion CDM Project (Honduras) - PDD development for the project which will implement a new wastewater treatment system which includes covered lagoons and a biogas recovery system at the palm oil mill. The captured biogas will be utilised in a gas engine for the generation of electricity. Estimated reductions: 23,888 tCO2eq/year.
Status: after first validation, awaiting second validation.

Emission reductions in the cement production facilities (Ecuador) - The project's idea is to reduce emissions through the implementation of multiple measures in the clinker and cement production process. The project uses new benchmark methodology entitled "CDM methodology for cement and clinker production facilities based on benchmarking", which was submitted to the CDM Executive Board jointly with the PDD.

Nuoc Trong Biogas Capture & Fuel Switch CDM Project (Vietnam) - Development of PIN and first PDD for the project which involves the recovery and utilisation of biogas from anaerobic lagoons for heat generation at the starch production facility in Vietnam.
Status: project taken over by new project participant in 2009, now at validation stage.

Wind Project Bonaire (Island of Bonaire, Dutch Antilles) - PDD development for the project which involves installation of a wind-diesel power generation configuration on the Island of Bonaire. 12 wind turbines were installed with total capacity of 10.8 MW. Estimated reductions: 26,960 tCO2eq/year.
Status: registered - GS 469.

Dlight Rural Lighting Project (India) - PDD development for the project which involves the introduction of solar lighting systems in Indian rural households. The solar lighting systems contain one LED lamp and one photovoltaic module. The target population of solar systems distributed within the project are rural households without grid connection or with insufficient grid connection located in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in India. The project was intended to develop into the Programme of Activities.
Status: registered - CDM 2699 / GS 600.

Keltepe 19MW Wind Farm GS VER Project (Turkey) - PDD development for the project which consists of installation of 23 wind turbines with capacity of 19 MW, located in the Balikesir province, Susurluk district in Turkey. Estimated reductions: 47,531 tCO2eq/year.
Status: registered - GS 437.

Dares Datca 29.6MW Wind Farm GS VER Project (Turkey) - PDD development for the project which involves a 29.6 MW onshore wind farm in the Mugla province, Datca district in Turkey. 36 turbines are installed. Estimated reductions: 72,169 tCO2eq/year.
Status: registered - GS 438.
